Disability-friendly skydiving initiative to launch at Offaly airfield
Clonbullogue Airfield in Offaly are set to host a disability-friendly skydiving initiative called the 'Handitandem'.
The launch of the ‘Handitandem’ initiative takes place on Wednesday, April 2, at 2pm, with the aim to provide at least eight participants with the unforgettable experience of tandem skydiving.
In collaboration with Rotary Club of Naas (Ireland), the Irish Wheelchair Association, and Laois Sports Partnership, Rotary Ireland are making this thrilling opportunity a reality.
Beyond the excitement, some participants have reported weeks of pain relief thanks to the positive effects of adrenaline.
The event will be hosted by the President of Portlaoise Rotary Club Maeve Furey and the Head of Rotary Ireland Seamus Parle.
