Offaly asked to 'Rock Your Socks' for World Down Syndrome Day

World Down Syndrome Day is today, March 21, and Offaly Down Syndrome Association are encouraging locals to celebrate by wearing their brightest, oddest socks.

The organisation have asked for schools, businesses, community centres, youth clubs, and even individuals to take part, and get ready to start spreading the joy.

You can get involved by wearing your mismatched socks, snapping a photo to share on social media, tagging @DownSynOffaly and using #RockYourSocks4ODS to spread the message!

"We can’t wait to see schools and businesses across Offaly coming together to celebrate and support the Down Syndrome community," said Robbie Donnelly, Branch Administrator of Offaly Down Syndrome.

"It’s a simple but powerful way to show acceptance, understanding, and respect for all."

To further support Offaly Down Syndrome, you can donate to help fund vital services. Donations can be made at www.idonate.ie/OffalyDownSyndrome
