Tullamore based community centre receives €80,000 in funding

Tullamore based St Mary's Youth and Community Centre has recently received €80,000 in community funding.

The money will go toward replacing the roof on the sport hall, with new high density insulated roof panels, fitting Solar PV panels and replacing the stage curtain for the shows.

In a statement on Tuesday, March 2, a spokesperson said: "This helps us reduce our bills and helps us take a big step towards becoming more carbon neutral.

"I would like to say a massive thank you to Cllr Declan Harvey for all his support and guidance throughout the application process."

St. Mary's Youth Centre offers a range of facilities and services to help support the community of Tullamore.
