Tullamore College coding club qualifies for All-Ireland Lego League Finals

The Tullamore College Coding Club is celebrating another incredible achievement as their TY Lego League team has secured a place in the All-Ireland Finals in Dublin.

It is the the second year in a row that the school's coding club has qualified for the competition.

Competing at the TUS Athlone regional competition, the team impressed the judges and came away with two prestigious trophies.

They were awarded the Core Values Trophy, recognising their teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving skills.

Their outstanding performance also earned them Second Place Overall, which secured their spot in the national finals.

The school extends a huge congratulations to team members Cassie, Abel, Gabriella, Cliona, and Isabel for their dedication and hard work. A special thanks to their teacher, Mr. Goodings, for his continued guidance and support.
