Over-30s club night proves a hot ticket in Tullamore

An early evening club night in Tullamore this weekend, for people aged over 30, has proven popular with the vast majority of the tickets already snapped up.

Club 30+ is taking place at The Palace nightclub, in the Bridge House Hotel, this Saturday, March 1, from 6pm to 10pm.

Organisers said 400 full price tickets were made available for the event and, as of earlier this week, fewer than 60 were still available.

The strong level of interest has led to plans being drawn up for another similar event locally in a few months' time.

A description of the club night said it's aimed at those who may be "sick of late nights out and fighting for a taxi at 2am in the morning".

It promises to give people an opportunity to boogie on the dancefloor, "and be back home in time for Match of the Day!"

The music on the night, meanwhile, will consist of "the best hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and beyond."

While the 'early bird' and 'second release' tickets for Saturday are sold out, there are still some general admission tickets available at: www.club30plus.ie
