Offaly aim for successive wins as camogie league campaign continues
Following an opening day victory over Kerry in their Very Ireland Division 2A camogie league campaign, Offaly return to competitive action on Saturday when they travel north to play Derry.
Offaly secured a deserved ten point victory over the Kingdom in St Brendan's Park Birr, with team manager David Sullivan noting post game that the win will give his team confidence and belief in what they are trying to achieve.
They face a stiff challenge on Saturday, their Oak Leaf county opponents having contested the Division 2A final in 2024.
When the teams met in the league last year in Banagher, Derry took the spoils by a point in a low scoring match.
In their first round match last weekend Derry had a narrow win away to Carlow which sets up this weekend's clash to be an exciting and intriguing affair.
The match, to be played at the Derry Centre of Excellence in Owenbeg, throws in on Saturday at 2pm.
