Former Offaly ladies manager hits out over removal from role
Former Offaly ladies football manager Greg Farrelly has spoken publicly for the first time following his removal from the role last week.
Speaking to Midlands 103, Farrelly said he was "disgusted" with the manner in which he was treated 15 months into his second term as Offaly manager.
The Edenderry man was appointed for a second term prior to the start of the 2024 season having previously led the Junior team to Leinster and All-Ireland glory in 2013.
The Faithful County have endured a winless start to their National League Division 3 campaign with defeats to Wexford, Carlow and most recently, Limerick, conceding a combined 10-37 in the process.
Under interim manager Brian Cosgrave, Offaly host neighbours Laois in Daingean at 2pm on Sunday, their fourth league outing of the campaign.
