'Ceol agus Craic' with Offaly Older Person’s Network

As part of this year's Seachtain na Gaeilge events, Offaly Older Person’s Network will host an evening of music, song, dance, stories and fun on Thursday, March 6 next in Tullamore Rugby Club.

All proceeds from the 'ceol agus craic' event will go directly to fund the work of Offaly Family Carers, with admission just €10 per person, which can be paid on the door.

Doors open at 7.3pm and the evening will get underway at 8pm. A host of musicians and entertainers have been lined up to take part in the Seachtain na Gaeilge event, and Tullamore Rugby Club has once again come on board to provide the venue and the supports necessary to host what promises to be a fun and entertaining evening for all.

One of the reasons Offaly Older Person’s Network was established was to create social opportunities to lessen isolation and loneliness for older people. The Network has organised numerous events over the past few years during Seachtaine na Gaeilge, Bealtaine in Offaly, Positive Ageing Week and Social Inclusion Weeks.
