Lidl sourced '€6m in goods and services' from Offaly suppliers in 2024

The supermarket chain Lidl said it procured over €6 million worth of goods and services from 18 suppliers and business partners across Offaly last year.

Lidl operates four stores within the county which employ 80 people.

It said its key Offaly suppliers include Irish soft drinks manufacturer and distributor Harney’s, based in Tullamore, which "continues to grow its business with Lidl Ireland, supplying all of the retailer’s own-brand squash since 2021."

At a national level, Lidl Ireland reported that it procured €1.2 billion worth of goods from the Irish agrifood sector in 2024 - up €89 million (or 7%) on 2023 – and procured a further €426 million worth of services from business partners in Ireland in 2024.
