Ballycumber native features in LOETB 'Learner Voice' video series

Ballycumber native Eamon Horan has shared his experience as an Adult Learner at the Laois Offaly Education And Training Board (LOETB) in Tullamore.

The 61-year-old spent three years studying a Maths course with LOETB, and along the way, he discovered his love for connecting with people in his community.

Through his course, he had the chance to meet new people and learn their stories —experiences he may never have had the pleasure of without taking that step.

Now, Eamon is an Ambassador for LOETB, and he has gained the confidence to share his own journey and spread the word about the amazing work LOETB does to support learners.

The video comes as part of the LOETB 'Learner Voice' series, which hears the stories of ten students who have changed their lives by taking part in Adult Education Programmes.
