Super Bowl stars Kendrick Lamar and SZA to bring Grand National Tour to Europe

Rapper Kendrick Lamar and singer SZA are to bring their Grand National Tour to Europe and the UK after performing in Sunday’s Super Bowl half-time show.
The pair will visit London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Glasgow’s Hampden Park, and Villa Park in Birmingham in July.
It comes after Lamar performed Drake diss track Not Like Us at the NFL match, following speculation over whether it would be included in his set, due to allegations it makes about the Canadian rapper, and Drake’s ongoing legal action against label Universal Music over the song.
The 37-year-old also brought out Samuel L Jackson dressed as Uncle Sam, tennis star Serena Williams and SZA, who performed Luther and All The Stars with the Squabble Up rapper in New Orleans.
It was Lamar’s second time on the Super Bowl half-time stage, having previously appeared in his hometown of Los Angeles in 2022 alongside Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent and Mary J Blige
European and UK tour dates – which include visits to Germany, Portugal and Spain – come after an extensive US and Canadian leg of the tour had been announced to begin in April.
The dates will see SZA return to the UK after headlining Glastonbury Festival and London’s British Summer Time in Hyde Park last year.
The St Louis-born star, 35, has released two studio albums in Ctrl (2017) and SOS (2022), she has had six UK top 10 singles and one UK top 10 album.
Lamar has received 22 Grammy Awards, and a Pulitzer Prize for his 2017 album Damn, and has had 11 UK top 10 singles and two UK number one albums, he most recently received five Grammys for single Not Like Us.
Tickets will go on pre-sale on February 12-13, before general sale begins on February 14 at 9am, tickets can be purchased from the Grand National Tour website.
