Munster sign centre Dan Kelly from Leicester

Munster have announced the signing of centre Dan Kelly from Leicester Tigers ahead of the 2025/26 season.

23-year-old Kelly is Irish-qualified through his grandparents has penned a two-year deal with Munster.

Kelly has won one cap with England back in 2021, but will be able to play for Ireland due to World Rugby's three-year stand down period to switch national allegience.

He has scored 10 tries in 88 appearances for Leicester since making his debut in 2020.

After starring for the Ireland U20s as an 18-year-old, Kelly joined Leicester Tigers in 2020 and made his Premiership debut against Gloucester at the age of 19.

The 2020/21 season saw Kelly establish himself as a key member of the Tigers squad, scoring two tries in 17 appearances and appearing in the Challenge Cup final.

Kelly's his debut could come as soon as the summer tour to Georgia and Portugal under Simon Easterby.
