Tolu Makay to headline London live music event

Tullamore singing sensation, Tolu Makay, is set to be one of the headline acts at a unique music event in London next month which provides a platform for women in the music industry to showcase their unique talents and stories.

The Amplify Her Showcase 2025 takes place on Thursday, March 13 next at the Water Rats live music venue on Gray's Inn Road which has a prestigious history including Bob Dylan's first UK gig in 1962, The Pogues first gig in 1982 and Oasis' first London gig in 1994.

Tolu Makay will be one of three female artists showcasing their music on the night, which also includes Fabia Anderson and Mia Mi.

Amplify Her was established in January 2023 and, in addition to hosting live music events for female artists, it also holds regular coffee and cocktail meetings, songwriting camps and speed networking.
