PHOTOS: Tullamore Camera Club's January competition winners

January's photo competition at Tullamore Camera Club has a theme of 'Lights', and the winning entries were recently announced.

A new member, Eugene Slabbert, took home the award for the best shot with his colourful image.

In second place was Michelle Kirwin with her enchanting capture of her beautiful cat, Harper.

The club's guest judge this month was Paul Whiteley, of Happy Snappers Camera Club in Fisherstown, and he chose Aurora Mocci's striking image of a sparkling bulb as his favourite shot.

Tullamore Camera Club's next meeting will be held on Thursday, February 27, at 8pm in the Offaly History Centre, Bury Quay.

New members are always welcome, and no experience is required.
