Hunt for Offaly Rose coming to Tullamore: "It could be you!"

The search for the next Offaly Rose is coming to Tullamore Court Hotel on Easter Sunday, April 20 - and it could be you.

Young women from across the county have been asked to send in their applications for the Offaly Rose Selection for their chance to become Offaly's next Rose.

Current Offaly Rose Allie Leahy shared her own experience of the competition, calling it “the experience of a life time”.

“Entering the Rose of Tralee International Festival was undoubtedly the best decision I have ever made.

“I have made the most exciting memories, and met the most lovely people who I thankfully will have in my life forever from all parts of the world - my Rose Family.”

The Offaly Rose Centre is looking for the support of local GAA and Camogie Clubs, societies, groups, and businesses to nominate a representative from their respective communities to take part in one of Offaly’s annual flagship events.

The centre is also reaching out to clubs or businesses that would like to sponsor an entrant for the 2024 Offaly Rose Selection, for the chance to appear on the entrant’s sash, as well as multiple advertisements throughout the Rose of Tralee International Festival.
