Esker Arts screens Film Offaly winners as 2025 applications to open

Esker Arts Centre is screening the previous winners of the Film Offaly awards tonight, Wednesday, January 29, at 8pm.

It comes ahead of the opening of applications for the Film Offaly Awards 2025.

The event offers the opportunity to see the sights and sounds, drama and emotion of Offaly on the big screen, as well as the chance to learn more about the Film Offaly application process.

Films being shown tonight include Men and Women (2012 Dir: Ruth Meehan), Whale (2019 Dir: Lorna Fitzsimons), The Passion (2020 Dir: Mia Mullarkey), Kubrick by Candlelight (2016 Dir David O’Reilly), A Simple Killing (2024 Dir: Jason Branagan), Noreen (2009 Dir Domhnall Gleeson)

The total duration of the event is estimated to be an hour and 25 minutes.
