Offaly actor and comedian to tour Ireland with sketch show 'A Day in the Country’
Ferbane native Tadhg J Devery is to bring his one-man sketch show 'A Day in the Country' on tour in Ireland this Spring.
The actor, comedian and social media personality has announced ten dates across the country during March, April and May.
These will include performances in the Midlands at the Dean Crowe Theatre in Athlone (April 11), Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise (April 25), and Mullingar Arts Centre (May 23).
In addition, he will be playing venues such as The Ambassador in Dublin and the Town Hall Theatre in Galway.
For the past couple of years, Tadhg has consistently written, shot, and edited a new sketch every week, showcasing his versatility by playing multiple characters to thousands of online fans.
The show 'A Day in the Country' invites audiences to "experience the charm and humour of six beloved characters created by Tadhg - but inspired by people we've all come across - such as Noel, your typical everyday country father, to The Garda, a policeman who couldn't solve a 10-piece jigsaw!"
Growing up in the countryside with a background in acting, farming, and building, Tadhg brings authenticity and relatability to his characters, with his unique perspective ensuring a funny and believable performance.
Tickets for his nationwide tour go on sale at 10am this Friday, January 24.
