Birr artist to exhibit work in Northern Ireland showcase

Birr native Shannon Bergin will be exhibiting her work in Island Art Centre in Lisburn from today, January 9.

The showcase, which is set to run until February 8, includes the works of a number of highly skilled illustrators.

Taking to Instagram to share the news, Shannon said: "I'm delighted to have been asked to exhibit a couple of pieces at the Island Arts Centre alongside a bunch of incredible illustrators."

Shannon's work was recently featured on the cover of the RTE Guide - a huge achievement for the local artist.

She has also been hard at work on creating art for her website, where she sells calendars, cards, and other art throughout the year.
