Tullamore Ladies Golf Club holds Christmas competition and lunch gathering

Tullamore Ladies Golf Club held their annual Ladies Christmas 9 hole competition and lunch on Tuesday, December 10.

With over 80 ladies attending, a memorable day was had by all, with some great golf played and a delicious lunch with traditional Christmas fare.

Former members returned to join the group for the festivities, much to the delight of the members.

Christmas outing winners included Frances Daly, Eileen O’Neill Magner, and Mary Minnock. Runners-Up were Anne Wynne, Grace Finnegan, and Camille King. In third place were Olive Payne, Mary Smith, and Brigid McDonnell.

The groups annual 14 hole competition in aid of Offaly Hospice, sponsored by Bernie Kavanagh, ran for 6 weeks over November and December. The winner was Mary Egan and Runner-up was Catherine Buckley.
