Tullamore's Molly Minh set for Late Late Toy Show parade

Midland Drama School student, Molly Minh O'Brien, from Tullamore has been chosen to take part in the most watched programme on Irish TV, The Late Late Toy Show on RTE 1, this Friday night.

Molly Minh, who is daughter of Joe and Siobhán and has one sister, Tianna, is overjoyed to have been chosen from the thousands of children all over the country to take part in the Late Late Toy Show. She will feature in the 32 counties Royal Parade which is due to take place during the second half of this year's televised show.

This is the 12th year that students from Midland Drama School have been chosen to participate in the Late Late Toy Show, and Artistic Director of the drama school, Lorraine Wynne, said Molly Minh will represent Offaly and the Midland Drama School "with pride" on Friday night.

Lorraine said the Late Late Toy Show has changed over the years, and the competition to be selected as one of the children taking part has become even more difficult. She pointed out that this makes the achievement of Molly Minh O'Brien and all the other students from Midland Drama School who have been chosen for the Late Late Show over the past 12 years even more remarkable.
