JJ Hough's hilarious 10th annual Christmas AD has gone viral with 25.4k views, as Santa gets naughty with a Christmas Eve lock in.

Locals couldn't get enough of the festive clip, saying "it gets better every year" and calling the video "absolutely brilliant".

The video shows Santa and his elves make a magical appearance to Ger Hough the night before Christmas.

The group get up to all kinds of mischief, with the elves learning to play hurling, and Santa doing shots with his fellow North Pole natives.

One local Garda almost put Santa in the naughty list, after pulling up on the shenanigans inside JJ Hough's.

The trouble didn't end there however, with the children of Banagher leading a protest after the man in the red suit missed a few deliveries in the area after a night on the pints.

The festive figure and his acquaintances are finally found in the fridge of the pub, with Santa endowing Ger with the honour of delivery the remaining Christmas gifts.
