LOETB Birr to host Christmas pop-up shop in aid of Offaly Hospice

Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) in Birr is to host a Christmas pop-up shop called 'Merry Munchies for Charity' next week.

The shop will be selling baked goods for Offaly Hospice on Wednesday, November 27, from 10am.

The event promises to be full of fun with freshly baked treats from LOETB Birr's chef Rachel, with Christmas music, raffles, hampers and the students dressed in festive attire.

Liam Butler from Offaly Hospice said: "We are delighted that the LOETB Birr students have chosen Offaly Hospice as their charity partner for this event, and all donations are greatly accepted.

"We deeply appreciate the students for highlighting the work that the Hospice does whether is compassionate care, symptom management, spiritual to emotional support."
