Tullamore Library to host 'Gardening for Biodiversity' event
Midlands Science are hosting an event titled 'Gardening for Biodiversity' in Tullamore Library on November 2 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
The event will focus on how gardening can help create a home to our plants and flowers, and also a refuge for birds, butterflies and bees.
The term biodiversity was coined by the scientist EO Wilson and the term refers to all living things on the plant.
As we are all aware, we are in the midst of a biodiversity crisis and small actions we all take in our lives can make a difference and help us to feel we are making a difference.
Join leading gardner Lynn O’Keefe Lascar to explore plans you can make for your garden to help biodiversity.
