Offaly community expected to be without water for hours due to burst pipe
Uisce Éireann said the public water supply to an area of Offaly is being interrupted today (Wednesday) due to a burst main.
It said the pipe burst was causing water supply problems for residents in Durrow, Ballybought, and surrounding areas in the north of the county.
Uisce Eireann listed the issue on its website today and said repair works were scheduled to take place until 10pm tonight.
It added that affected residents should "allow 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time" for their water supply to fully return.
