Tullamore Garden and Flower Club host talk with gardening expert

Tullamore Garden and Flower Club are set to host their October garden talk on Wednesday October 30 at 7.30pm in Charleville Community Centre.

The talk titled 'Extending the season of interest in your Garden' will be presented by Patricia Tyrell who has both a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Horticulture and a Master of Science in Landscape Horticulture from UCD.

Patricia has won Gold Medal Awards at BLOOM 2012 and BLOOM 2019.

As a qualified Horticulturist she believes strongly that good landscape design should be underpinned with good planting design.

Patricia seeks to create landscapes with atmosphere, living landscapes that are not just beautiful, but contribute positively to the environment.

In achieving this goal she believes there are three key considerations – People, Places and Planting - which will be discussed on the night.

Tullamore Garden and Flower Club invite everyone to join them for the talk.

Admission for members is priced at €5 and for non members is priced at €7.
