Tickets snapped up for intimate performance by The Coronas in Shannonbridge
An intimate performance in Shannonbridge by one of Ireland's best-known bands is proving a hot ticket.
The Coronas will be taking to the stage at Luker's in Shannonbridge on Sunday night, October 27, with support from Dáwna.
However the venue announced this week that all tickets for the gig have already been sold.
A special licensing application in relation to the concert was approved by Judge Bernadette Owens during today's sitting of Athlone District Court.
Judge Owens was told that the capacity for the concert was being capped at 500 tickets, and that a traffic management plan for it had been agreed with Gardai.
The latest album by The Coronas, 'Thoughts & Observations', was released on September 27.
The band will be embarking on a 'Thoughts & Observations' tour next month, which will start in New York and will also include shows in Australia, Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands.
This weekend's performance in Shannonbridge was organised in association with the TUS students' union, and doors will be opening from 6pm on Sunday.
