Geashill IFA members pay visit to chemical-free farm on forested land

Members of the Geashill branch of the Irish Farmers Assocition (IFA) in Offaly recently enjoyed a visit to Fior Bhia Farm in Portlaoise.

According to its website, Fior Bhia is a regenerative farm which works using forested land and without chemical fertilizers, sprays or antibiotics.

The farm says it provides "minimum processed nutrient-rich and tasty food direct to local families".

The IFA extended its thanks to Pat Fitzpatrick, branch chair, for organising the visit.
