Celebrations to mark 60th anniversary of Offaly school

The 60th anniversary of St. Mary's national school in Cloghan will be celebrated with a number of events tomorrow night (Thursday, October 17) to which the whole community is invited to attend.

The celebrations begin with a special Mass which will be held in St. Mary's Church at 7pm, and this will be followed by a Remembrance Walk in the school and around the new school sensory walkway. Light refreshments will be served in the school and all current and past pupils, along with their families and friends, are invited to attend all tomorrow evening's celebrations to mark the milestone event of the local school's 60th anniversary.
