This year's Black Tie Charity Ball, which is being held in aid of Power4Good and Family Carers Ireland, will take place in the Bridge House Hotel on Saturday, November 23 necxt.

The event, which was launched last week, is being co-sponsored by WR Shaw and Tullamore Credit Union, and will feature a drinks reception on arrival in the hotel lobby at 7pm and music by Martin Goulding. This will be followed by a four-course meal with wine and entertainment by The Secrets and a late night DJ.

The Best Dressed Lady event this year will have prizes totalling over €1,000, and tickets, which are priced at €85 each, are currently available from the Power4Good Charity Shop, Main Street,Kilbride Plaza, Tullamore and River Street, Clara: 085 7720550; Family Carers 057 9322920; Beth 086 7957086 or Molly: 087 2914302.

The organisers have set aside a number of larger tables for local companies or office groups who would like to attend the Black Tie Charity Ball as their Christmas social outing.
