Tullamore's first 24-hour gym to open in November

Offaly's first 24-hour gym is set to open this November as Snap Fitness comes to Tullamore Retail Park.

The gym will take up residence of the vacant unit previously occupied by Carpetright, which boasts with over 10,000 sq. ft. of space. The unit has been unoccupied since June 2023.

The gym will create a number of employment opportunities for people in the local area.

Snap Fitness is independently owned by franchisee Brinderjeet Gill, who already operates multiple Snap Fitness sites.

“We’re excited to be able to bring Snap Fitness to Tullamore,” said Brinderjeet.

“As a franchised business, Snap Fitness prides itself on community and people can expect a gym where people of all abilities can feel comfortable and welcome in."

“The gym is now taking shape and we can’t wait to open in November. We will be creating a safe, vibrant and inspiring space for people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing,” he added.

The gym aims to have equipment for all types of exercise at the Tullamore location, including a spacious free weights area, cardio zone, functional training area and strength equipment machines.

Group exercise classes are set to be included as part of the membership. The gym will have two studios - one dedicated for group exercise and another for indoor cycling.
