Coláiste Choilm Tullamore welcomed Taoiseach Simon Harris to the school on Thursday last, September 12.

The Taoiseach was in the area for the Fine Gael party 'think-in' which was held over the course of two days at the Tullamore Court Hotel.

His arrival marked a significant occasion for the school, as both students and staff had opportunities to meet the country's leader and hear what he had to say.

The Taoiseach began his visit by addressing the entire student body and staff in the assembly hall.

His speech touched on a variety of important topics, from the future of education in Ireland to the importance of young people getting involved in shaping the country's future.

He also shared some personal insights from his own journey into politics, inspiring students to pursue their passions and contribute to society.

Taoiseach Harris spoke about the value of hard work, community spirit, and how the decisions made in schools today shape the leaders of tomorrow. He encouraged the students to never underestimate their potential to make a difference.
