Three vehicles seized in patrols carried out by Edenderry Gardai

Gardai in Edenderry said they seized three vehicles after detecting a range of offences during high-visibility mobile patrols yesterday (Wednesday).

The force said the first of the vehicles had been driven by a learner driver who was not accompanied by a fully licensed motorist.

The second incident involved a driver who, Gardai said, was found to have no driving license or insurance and was arrested. Charges in the matter are due to be brought before Tullamore District Court.

The third vehicle to be seized was parked in a public place without tax or insurance displayed.

The mobile patrols were part of a community policing operation designed to help improve road safety locally.
