Offaly Down Syndrome expresses gratitude to Breretons Bar Tractor Run Committee

Offaly Down Syndrome Association has extended its deepest thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the Breretons Bar Annual Tractor Run Committee and the entire Ballybritt community for their incredible support and generosity.

This year's Tractor Run event, which took place on June 30, raised an astounding €12,000 for the organisation.

The Association said the funds would go a long way in supporting the vital services it provides to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families throughout Offaly.

"These contributions will have a significant impact on enhancing the quality of life for our members," said Robbie Donnelly, Branch Administrator for Offaly Down Syndrome

The Tractor Run, now a much-anticipated event in the Ballybritt community calendar, showcases the remarkable spirit of togetherness and charity that defines the area, he added.

“We are immensely grateful to the Breretons Bar Annual Tractor Run Committee for their tireless efforts in organising such a successful event. Their dedication, combined with the overwhelming support from local participants, sponsors, and volunteers, really made this year’s event a standout success.”

"We would also like to extend a special thank you to the Ballybritt community. Your enthusiasm, participation, and generosity are truly inspiring. It is because of communities like yours that organisations like ours can continue to provide essential services and support to those who need it most."
