Harriers and Bord na Móna join forces for half marathon

Representatives from both Tullamore Harriers and Bord na Móna came together recently to celebrate the launch of the Bord na Móna Tullamore Harriers Half Marathon,

The event, to take place on August 31, has quickly become one of Ireland's fastest growing half marathons, with this year's race reaching a record-breaking 1,400 participants.

Scheduled consistently for the last Saturday in August, the half marathon is perfectly timed for runners preparing for the Dublin City Marathon and other autumn races. With the support of Bord na Móna and other sponsors, this year's event is expected to be a major success.
