Birr pupils pay visit to Garda station ahead of new school year

Primary school children in Birr learned more about the work of An Garda Síochána during a visit to the town's Garda Station today (Friday).

The pupils visited the station as part of the summer camps programme at St Brendan's Boys School, which was drawing to a close.

In a post on social media, Laois/Offaly Gardai said they were delighted to have the pupils call in for a visit, and they wished them all the very best as they start their new school year next week.
