Offaly influencer Rachel Gorry 'honoured' to launch Boots Night Walk
Influencer Rachel Gorry is 'honoured' as she prepares to launch the Boots Night Walk in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
Rachel will be participating in the walk this year in honour of her late partner Daniel, who passed away due to oesophageal cancer in 2021.
The mum-of-three wants to highlight the importance of the Night Nursing service which is provided by the charity.
Rachel said: “I am honoured to be taking part in this year’s Night Walk, supporting the incredible work of nurses who make a real difference in the lives of so many people.
"This is a cause that’s very close to my heart. I hope to see as many people as possible for what I know will be a very special night.”
The 3.5k walk will take place on Tuesday September 10 at Dublin’s Phoenix Park, but it can also be completed at a location of your own choosing.
The Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses provide end-of-life care for cancer patients, allowing them to spend their final days at home surrounded by family and loved ones.
All funds raised from the Boots Night Walk supporting this service, which is free to people who avail of it.
