Ahead of Gráinne Walsh's Olympic Games debut this Sunday, the Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA) has released a video interview with the Tullamore woman in which she talks about her journey to Paris.

In the interview, Gráinne acknowledged that competing at the Olympics had always been her dream, but she said she'll be approaching it in the same way she would any other tournament.

"Although the Olympics is the pinnacle of amateur sport, and something I've dreamed about my whole life, I am going to be treating it the same as every other tournament.

"It's just another day. (It's about) the things that we do every day in the gym here, another opponent, and the person who shows up on the day will be the winner.

"I try not to get too much in my head about the Olympics, and everything that it is, but I want to enjoy the whole thing as well."

Grainne's 'round of 32' bout on Sunday, against Hungary's Anna Luca Hamori, is due to get underway at around 4.20pm, Irish time.
