Annie Rose Hogan at Croke Park

Local girl represented Offaly in All Ireland Hurling final half-time game

Offaly's Annie Rose Hogan had a memorable Sunday as she represented her county in the Allianz INTO Cumann na mBunscol half time game at the 2024 All Ireland Hurling final.

Annie, a talented young camogie player from Coolderry Central National School, qualified to represent Offaly as she had won the Allianz Offaly Cumann na mBunscol Camogie Skills competition earlier this year.

The Naomh Brid Camogie Club player got the chance to play in front of a sold-out Croke Park crowd at half-time in the All Ireland hurling final. Before the match, her club wished her the best of luck, and said that the chance to play at half time during the biggest day in the hurling calendar was a real honour.

Clare ultimately defeated Cork after extra time to win the All Ireland final for the fifth time.
