Greens choose candidate for general election in Offaly

The Green Party has selected Minister of State Pippa Hackett as its candidate for the Offaly constituency.

Senator Hackett is one of 16 candidates announced by the party today.

Sixteen candidates were selected by local party members in the first round of the process with their names being approved by the party. More candidates will be announced in the weeks ahead.

The following people will contest the next general election on behalf of the Greens:
