Ceangal exhibition to open soon at Esker Arts Centre

Esker Arts Centre have announced that the official reception of the Ceangal / Connections exhibition will be on Friday, July 26 at 7pm.

'Ceangal' (or 'Connections' in English) is a large collaborative effort between local artists in Tullamore and its Sister City of Chandler in Arizona, USA. The exhibition will also be on display in Chandler Museum Gallery in March and April of next year.

The eight writers, photographers, filmmakers, and visual artists involved in the project have explored the contrasts and similarities between both areas.Their joint goal was to capture the “uniqueness of their respective home towns through art, writing, film, and photos.”

Admission is free and the exhibition will run until August 24.
