Call for locals to get involved in new Ferbane Town Team

A drop-in clinic will be held in Ferbane next Wednesday evening, July 24, in an effort to help get local volunteers involved with the new Ferbane Town Team.

In March, the Government announced that €30,000 was being allocated to Ferbane to help draw up a 'Town Centre First' plan for the locality.

Offaly County Council is now highlighting the need for volunteers to become involved.

"We are looking for volunteers across a number of community, business, educational and sporting sectors to represent Ferbane on the Town Team," it said.

As part of this process, a drop-in clinic has been organised and will be held in Ferbane Convent from 7pm to 9pm on July 24 next.
