Tullamore Bar nominated in the Bar of the Year Awards

The Old Warehouse pub, located in Tullamore, has been nominated for three categories in the 2024 Bar of the Year Awards.

The pub is nominated for the Local Bar of the Year Award, the Gastro Bar of the Year Award, and the Best Newcomer award.

Located in the former Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, the pub opened its doors in 2022.

It is co-owned by PGA star and Offaly native Shane Lowry, and hospitality entrepreneur Alan Clancy.

The renovated warehouse turned gastro pub was at the top of the Sunday World's 2023 'Pub Spy' list of the top 10 bars in Ireland, released in January of this year.

The Bar of the Year awards saw over 700 submissions to 29 categories, with all finalists to be considered for the 2024 People's Choice Awards, voted by the public and awarded on the night.

The awards ceremony will take place at a gala dinner hosted by Anton Savage in the Clayton Hotel in Dublin, taking place on Monday August 19.
