Offaly rowers compete at Lough Rinn event

Offaly rowers took to the waters of Lough Rinn, Leitrim, on Saturday last, June 29.

Lough Rinn’s breath-taking views made it a wonderful day out for rowers and their families. The sun was shining, and all rowers had a fantastic day.

Results of the club's participants were as follows:

* MJ14 Caden Coleman 2nd Place

* WJ14 Anna Walsh 6th Place

* MJ14 Quad (Caden Coleman, David Mooney, Finn Lowry, Daniel Lambe) 5th Place

* MJ15 Cian Craven 4th Place

* MJ15 Oran Sampson 5th Place

* MJ15 Quad (John McDonald, Oran Sampson, Cian Craven, Caden Coleman) 6th Place

* WJ15 Katelyn Taylor 5th Place

Offaly Rowing Club would like to invite new rowers to try the sport out.

The club is offering a trial membership of €50, in which new members receive one-to-one instruction on how to row.

This can be deducted from annual membership if you wish to continue.
