Fun House Theatre to donate over €17k to Midlands Hospice project

In the same week as the Fun House Theatre Company picked up the 'Best Comedienne' AIMS award and were runners-up for a second award, they also announced that they raised over €17,000 for the new Midlands Regional Hospice for Tullamore from the proceeds of 'Calendar Girls, The Musical.'

Fun House partnered with Offaly Hospice to raise funds for the Midlands Regional Hospice building project and, along with staging 'Calendar Girls' they also organised a host of fundraisers in conjunction with the musical, including the launch of a unique 'Nude' calendar featuring members of the local community' and the sale of an exclusive collection of prints by Emma Campbell Artist which were specially commissioned for the musical launch.

The company concluded a triumphant run of ‘Calendar Girls: The Musical’ at Esker Arts Centre from May 1 to 5 last.

The production, which captivated local audiences with its heartfelt performances and stirring music, played to sold-out crowds each night.
