Last weekend marked a huge achievement for Éire Grapple Head Coach Kieran Davern who was awarded his Second Degree Black Belt by John Kavanagh, founder of SBG Ireland and coach to Conor McGregor.

Kieran who opened Éire Grapple (formerly SBG Tullamore) 12 years ago in August, has been training martial arts from childhood but in particular Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the last 17 years.

John Kavanagh commented: “It was a huge honour for me to award one of Ireland's most successful BJJ competitors and Éire Grapple Head coach Kieran Davern his second degree black belt after a brilliant seminar today.”
