Fianna Fáil's Eddie Fitzpatrick will be elected on the first count, according to the tallies, and will take the first of the six seats.

Fergus McDonnell at 14% has performed strongly, and is set to take a seat, whilst Fine Gael have managed their vote well, and both Liam Quinn and Noel Cribbin are well in contention.

Fianna Fáil's Claire Murray is also set to a seat as a first-time candidate.

The final seat seems to be between Sinn Féin's Clare Murray, Social Democrats' John McNamee and Fianna Fáil's third candidate, sitting councillor, Robert McDermott.
