Offaly's Ellen again wins Premier Division player of the month award

Offaly teenager Ellen Dolan has earned another award for the mantlepiece, after her performances for Peamount United resulted in her being named the SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division 'Player of the Month' for May.

The former Mucklagh player who is still just 17 years of age - she will turn 18 later this month - won the 'player of the month' accolade for the second time after previously being awarded it for October/November of last year.

She has been finding the net for Peamount on a regular basis, with her recent goals including a vital late winner away to Treaty United on May 11.

In April, Ellen was part of the Republic of Ireland U-19 women’s team which recorded a 4-1 victory over Iceland in their opening UEFA European Championship qualifying group game
