Noel Cribbin (Fine Gael), Edenderry
We sent a questionnaire to all 10 candidates running in the Edenderry Electoral Area in the forthcoming Offaly County Council election. The responses were published in print in the Offaly Independent last Friday.
NAME: Noel Cribbin
ADDRESS: St Francis Street, Edenderry.
PARTY: Fine Gael.
SPECIAL AREAS OF INTEREST:
In my work as a councillor it's mainly in dealing with grants for windows, doors, wet rooms, etc, and also working with various clubs and organisations to secure grant funding.
WHY ARE YOU RUNNING IN THIS ELECTION?
Because I want to continue to work hard and deliver for the people of Edenderry and North Offaly with various projects, housing, jobs, etc.
WHAT ARE THE TWO BIGGEST ISSUES IN YOUR AREA?
A lack of social housing in Edenderry, and roads.
WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY?
I won't single out any one person in particular, but I admire those who are in high office as Government Ministers or as Taoiseach. It's go, go, go and they must never see home. It's a huge commitment.
