Having won two prestigious awards at the Leinster Regional Finals of the Irish Restaurant Awards last year, Birr-based Indian restaurant, Sanjay's Kitchen, was named this week as the overall Leinster winner of the prestigious 'Best World Cuisine' award.

Sanjay Vishwakarma, Chef/proprietor of Sanjay's Kitchen, which is based in Market Square in Birr, was presented with the Leinster award for 'Best World Cuisine' at the national finals of the Irish Restaurant Awards 2024 in Dublin's Clayton Hotel last night (Monday).

He thanked his kitchen team for the hard work that went into winning the award, and all his loyal customers who continue to support his business.

Last year, Sanjay's Kitchen won two top awards at the Leinster Regional Finals of the Irish Restaurant Awards, including 'Best Chef' and 'Best World Cuisine.'
