'Memories of Charleville Castle' felting exhibition set for Tullamore Library

A felting exhibition centred around memories of Charleville Castle in Tullamore will be launched in the town's library on Tuesday next, May 21, at 6pm.

The project was created by members of the Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) community, under the guidance of Pauline McNelis.

Participants come together to create unique pieces, using locally-sourced yarn and inspired by the rich history and enchanting atmosphere of Charleville Castle.

The LOETB said the initiative "highlights the power of community collaboration and artistic expression, serving as a testament to the importance of working together to preserve memories and foster creativity".
